服務信望愛 & 淨覺育幼院童收穫豐碩
洪川（Ruby）介紹越南母語、文化…，深受院童們喜歡

這個暑假我過得相當充實呢！第一次在台灣參加「Gap Summer Better World」，我覺得它是一個很棒的計畫。藉由這次的活動，我又更深入認識台灣的文化，而且也把中文說得更加熟練了。
今年我參與兩梯次的服務，一在屏東縣的信望愛育幼院，一在高雄市的靜覺育幼院。雖然兩院所的宗教信仰不同，但是他們都很友善，院童也很可愛，所以我很快地就融入他們的生活圈。
就我所見，屏東的孩子多才多藝，會唱歌、會彈琴。當我跟他們一起玩遊戲，感覺非常快樂。另外一方面，我跟Rita（芳水）敎小孩子們認識越南文化和城市特色。我感覺他們很喜歡學越南話，因為很快牢牢記住敎過的一些簡單問候語，像是「謝謝、你好、再見」。只要他們看到我，就會興奮地用這些話跟我交談。
此外，我也透過這次的營隊夥伴Nadya 和Koen，認識印尼及比利時的文化。而台灣的朋友會跟我介紹一些食物、習俗和傳統，他們都很熱心、也很樂意幫忙，所以我覺得能夠跟他們一起服務，是件令人愉悅的事。同時，那些小孩子很努力敎我認識中文字，還有注音字母，於是我的中文進步得很快。我真的很喜歡院裡的小孩子，他們很友善，而且都很可愛。也要特別一提的是，老師們也給了我們不少協助，真的很感謝。
第二梯次服務在高雄，我仍然過得相當充實。不管是院長師父、主任、還有孩子，大家都很關心我。淨覺的孩子都很守規矩，他們努力地配合我們的活動，所以大家相處得很開心。師父和主任也常常問志工們哪裡需要幫忙等等，對我們真的很好。我很喜歡這次的工作夥伴們，他們會介紹我認識高雄市的特色。所以，我現在對於台灣文化又有更廣度的瞭解了。
在「Gap Summer Better World」計畫裡，雖然服務的時間不長，但是學習到蠻多東西。我相信幫助別人，得到的快樂是兩倍，藉著分享彼此的語言、文化、傳統，我們都過了更加豐富的生活。透過這個機會也認識很多其他國家的朋友，我很難忘記這樣的經歷。
對於那些曾經在「Gap Summer Better World」幫助我的人們，我要誠心說聲謝謝。同樣的，我也要向CCSA 道謝。因為有你們辦此活動，我才能學著幫助這些孩子。我想，等他們長大之後，一定也會學著奉獻自己的時間，去幫助需要幫助的人。
I spent a great time this summer! Its my firt time to join in a Gap Summer Better World Program here in Taiwan . I think it’s a wonderful program because I learnt a lot of things about Taiwan Culture and its also a good chance to practice my knowledge & skills in Chinese Mandarin.
I had joined 2 sections, the first section was in Pingdong and the the second section was located in KaoShiung. Although the children in two places have different religion I easily adapt in their culture because they are friendly and lovely and I’ d learnt a lot from them.
I felt the children in Pingdong were very good, they knew a lot of things such as playing piano, singing- I really had a great time with them because we played games together and I very happy for that. In return, Me and Rita also introduced to them our Vietnamese Culture and taught them how to be little Vietnamese. I felt the children like to learn Vietnamese language because some children remembered some of the sentences that we’ve teach them such as, “thankyou”, “hello”, and “goodbye”. So everytime they saw me they talk with me by our Vietnamese language. I have given also a chance to learn the Indonesia and Belgium Culture through Nadya and Koen. And aside from that, my Taiwanse friends introduce me more about the Taiwanese foods and about their customs & traditions. They were vey good and helpful, so I’m very happy working with them. And the children there also teach me some Chinese Madarin words and even their own dialect. That’s why my Chinese Mandarin improved a lot. I really like the children there because they’re trully friendly and lovely. Also, the teacher there was very good because she cared for us.
The second section is in Kaoshiung, I also had a great time there. I had received care from 師父, zhu 人 and the children. I felt the children there were very obedient,in fact they always cooperate with us and we had played games together and I’m really happy at that time .師父,zhu人 was really good to us. And I really like my partners because they always helping me and introducing me something’s special in Kaoshuing that’s why now I had a wide knowledge of Taiwan Cullture.
I’ve learnt a lot of things and experiences from Gap Summer Better World even though the period of the program is too short . I felt very happy because I helped the children and the unfortunate people there. We can change together for a better life like we can exchange or introduce diferrent languages ,customes & traditions or the culture. And it has been the good chance to make friends with other nationalities all over the world. And I will never forget that last time of the program.
I want to say thank you to all the people who have helped me to finished this Gap Sumer better the world and I also want to say thank you with CCSA because this organization created a good chance for me to joined this social work to help children in Taiwan . And I hope these children will be happy in life and in the future there will be like us to join this programe .
